This 2CD set was recorded during the last week of our 2004 Fall Tour. We wrote many new songs and they developed over the course of the tour. "Anew", "The Impasse", "Refusenik", "Dust Up," and the Hendrix cover "Spanish Castle Magic" each received inspired readings this night in Southern California. Along with radically different versions of warhorses "Old Guard" and "Romeo" and an impassioned (and extremely long)"Double Negative>Bulbous>Mesh>Bulbous>Cherub Rock" sandwich to start the second set, you even get an ultra-rare bass solo from Pete when Brian's keyboards temporarily went on the fritz. This Winston's show is one of the very best from the whole tour and the entire year in general.
