RatDog was once again in full swing at The Pageant in St. Louis, MO on Monday. We pushed the weekend out one extra day and killed those Monday blues. As we were in Johnnie Johnson's hometown Ratdog was joined by some talented members from Johnnie Johnson's Band (Jim Rossi on Trumpet and Stuart Williams on Saxophone.) These inspired fellows sat in for a number of songs, a most definite highlight being the smokin' rendition of RatDog's October Queen that seamlessly and lusciously segues straight into the Grateful Dead classic The Other One. As the show progressed through the night there seemed to be a beautiful harmonic convergence, the crowd and band became one. A classic St. Louis encore, Bobby sends tribute to Johnnie with an unforgettable performance of Johnnie B. Goode.
