Another Theatre filled with history. The Sherman Theatre in Stroudsburg opened Monday, January 7, 1929, offering a full evening’s entertainment.
Keeping in tradition on April 1, 2008 RatDog also offered a full evening’s entertainment.
And just as they said about '29, "What a night it was…"
Feel Like A Stranger was as hot as ever jamming into an Easy Answers that tonight highlighted the awesome work of our own Kenny B. on sax. As the night jammed on I'd say Brown Eyed Women was my favorite part of the first set, a really rockin’ version. A sticky sweet version of Candyman was the winner in the acoustic set and Robin brought us thundering into The Other One straight on into a killer jam. A great Weight encore, it felt like all of Stroudsburg was there singing! A great bunch in this town let me tell you.
Let’s recap:
Back in ’29 the highlight of the evening was a live performance by Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy.
At our night together in ’08 the highlight of the evening was a live performance with Bob Weir and RatDog
