The third of three nights at New York City’s Beacon Theatre.
RatDog thanks all our New York friends for dropping by and sitting in the last two nights. The shows have been incredible.
Tonight. All 100% RatDog!
A Classic Bob Weir and RatDog on Broadway show. All snug in our third night here at the Beacon it was smooth sailing and fun was had by all.
Help On The Way started us off and foretold the evening as help was on the way. A great Row Jimmy and a strong and spacey version of Dark Star made the first set unforgettable. The healing continued with another one of my favorite mini-Rock-operettas the Weather Report Suite and it was truly stellar. It took some time at the break to catch my breath, oh yeah and buy a Margarita.
Two Margaritas later the Acoustic set was sounding better than ever with a climactic and truly haunting Victim or the Crime ending with a bang into Lazy River Road then ramping up straight into Jack Straw then back to outer space with Dark Star, man my head was spinning from the music. Or maybe it was that third Margarita.
The last half of the show was intense Days Between, Two Djinn then finishing with Slipknot and the Last in our Franklin Trilogy a great classic GD version with a little of the new thrown in, a great show ender.
But that was not the end… No we still had One More Saturday night in NYC to rock out! And rock we did!
See you next year thanks to the Beacon for a rocking time.
