Awesome show! This place sounds so good and it looks absolutely beautiful. The seats, the doors, the walls, the lights, the lobby, the front of the building, this place is classy. Upscale.
This place also is beautifully designed and the acoustics are astounding. Unbelievable, I listen to this CD, close my eyes, and as if in a puff of smoke, I am there.
I still cannot believe they let the likes of us in there.
An absolutely killer version of Bury Me Standing. If that’s your song this is your show.
A must have.
But I don’t want to get ahead of myself. Let me go back to the beginning, I do not want to forget to mention how this show all started. RatDog kicked the show into gear with a jam swerving down the road into a straight up version of Truckin’, never disappoints. From Truckin’ we go straight into Brown Eyed Women the crowd hits the dance floor and the energy in the whole room rises. Just when you think the waters are safe we get a psycho-smooth version of Tomorrow Never Knows. Not bad for the opener.
If that already sounds good to you, let me tell you, this show took off and never stopped. To name just a few, Cold Rain and Snow, Scarlet Begonias, Slipknot/Franklin’s Tower, Brokedown Palace, I could go on and on, but in consideration of time and space...
two more words…
Sugar Magnolia.
