A Great version of Feel Like a Stranger opened this show but we were not strangers for long. We all got know each other really well, really fast, and got down, and partied!
The show rolled out with Big River, Row Jimmy and then spun out of control with Money for Gasoline my favorite new RatDog song! (until the next new one comes out that is)
My show highlight was the Dark Star into Bertha - you go so far out and then get sucked right back to the dance floor at warp speed. Incredible. Exhausting! On the break I decided to get out of the smoke filled room and go outside and have a smoke.
I got back in just in time to sing a long with Catfish John. Me along with everyone else in the room. Good times. As the acoustic set progressed things really started to heat up. I think the room climaxed some time during The Last Time, out of control.
The jam goes deep. Primal into intense drama, trust me it is trippy.
Bob and the Dog topped all this off with a longing Dear Prudence, and rocked it out with Saint Stephen / The Eleven, ending the show and sending us packing with a Touch of Grey. I remember what I thought at the end of the show. Wow, I get another dose tomorrow night.
Night two at the Tower Theatre in Upper Darby, PA! - Don't forget to check that out!
This show was insane. Every time I listen to the cds. It sounds perfect. Just like I remember.
Go there.
