Fast forward two years from the Bonnaroo show. The energy lives on like a friggin Energizer Bunny. The take on Westerly in this set captures the rambling energy like Strangefolk could never do. AOD has updated a lot of those arrangements. The songs have aged very well. Wine - not vinegar at this point. This show will not disappoint. It's funny, these festival sets seem to be a nice digestible lozenge of tuneage. Put it on your tongue.

Sometimes you hear a lot of musical influences in a band, but you can`t find the band`s sound in all that. Assembly of Dust is different. I heard Bruce Hornsby influence in the piano and the songwriting, heard some of the original Band as well, some DMB. But for all that, I heard a strong band with an interesting sound of their own. I`m glad to see I can get a live show by AOD.
