I saw David Grisman and the group at the Napa Opera House (should have been renamed Opry for the night). This was my first hearing of this incredible music. His writing and performing style is exactly what bluegrass (close as I can get to it) should sound like. Yes, I know, there is the "blues" bluegrass dreary sound and that's OK, too, but for more enjoyment, support D.Grisman. It really opened my eyes and I love what he does! My only regret is that it took me SO LONG to find his music. My ears smile loudly now.
