JB started with the ceremonial "Evening Everybody", Chilly Water was rockin, Slipping into Darkness was right...then Aint Life Grand with the mandolin was over the top.. The rest was over the top. Peace

Was 1 show worth a 10 hour solo drive each way? Well, if you can really call that outstanding night 1 show, then yes, an emphatic yes. Classic high-energy Panic, interspersed with special guests and clever new arrangements showed that a delicately constructed one night stand can encapsulate all the beauty and magic that you'd have to distill from a messier, 4 night run (sorry Phish). The arrangements that night, particularly during the semi-acoustic 2nd set, were mellow yet powerful, and provided a smooth and graceful transition into 2012, rather than a high-energy electric set. That clever placement of the sets and the guests kept everything sounding incredibly fresh the whole night. One of the best executed shows I've seen.

This show was incredible. Drove all the way from Kansas city. Second set blew my mind. So happy I could spend another new years with jb and the boys this year. Thanks again for such a good time. Todd you were amazing given your circumstances that day. Happy new year everyone!
