This was an amazingly disappointing show. Not Lotus' fault. There was a massive thunder storm that evening at the Electric Forest. Most of the acts were cancelled. The weather cleared and Lotus was able to play. Unfortunately the stages at Electric Forest were not covered/protected- this might have affected the sound system. The sound was never quite right and we could see it was bothering the hell out of the band. They are perfectionists to be sure and they were forced to fight a flaky sound system the whole show. This show is in no way representative of how great Lotus is.
The '11 show at the Newport in Columbus OH is a much better choice. And if available, the All Good '10 show is absolutely amazing.
Lotus kicks ass.
