Reviews for Roger Daltrey: 10/12/2011 Verizon Theatre, Grand Prairie, TX

This show was absolutely awesome! Roger Daltrey's voice was strong, the band was tight and the venue was perfect. Once the band completed their performance of the Tommy album, they proceeded to spend the next hour and fifteen minutes performing Who classics as well as other great selections. It always makes for a great show when the performer seems to be enjoying him/herself and is in a good mood. It was obvious that Mr. Daltrey was in a very good mood and is extremely grateful for the fact that his voice was saved after thinking he might not ever be able to sing again. Sure there are some Who songs I would have loved for them to have played, but I am actually okay with the fact that they didn't just do a Who greatest hits show. After all, Roger Daltrey had a successful solo career as well. But I would venture to say that not a single person left the show disappointed. The band left it all on the stage last night and a great time was had by all. If you're on the fence about seeing Roger Daltrey performing "Tommy", do not hesitate. He is Rock and Roll Royalty. And he does not disappoint.
